I think the City of Lake Stevens is a bit distracted with a bigger "chicken" to fry. Meaning, the monopolies on land grabs in the area and fighting an environmental agency in land development. We'd better pay attention because the city is selling out our city right out from under our "beaks." This is my sediments exactly and very well put. I find it hard to believe that we've elected a mayor & council that can not solve this tiny problem by granting special dispensation to the CHICKEN and allowing it to stay. Reasons - tradition, meaningful to our LSHS students and a number of residents. Is this not a community for the people or is a community for the mayor & council and their ordinances.
